This kit contains almost everything needed to begin your own exciting candle crafting adventure! This is a perfect experience for an individual, or a good tool to use as a lesson for smaller learners. Parental supervision is recommended as hot surfaces are required and small hands may struggle with pouring the melted wax into the containers. 
 
Included in the kit: 
1 Pour Pitcher
1 Glass Thermometer
11 Ounces Soy Wax
1 Ounce Fragrance
1 Skewer
4 Tins With Lids (4 ounce tins)
4 CD 10 Wicks
4 Wick Stickers (to adhere the wicks to the tins)
4 Safety Stickers
4 Tin Labels
4 Popsicle Sticks (to help position the wicks)
1 Instruction Book
 
 
Items you will need to do this kit: 
Stove or Hot Plate
1 Sauce Pot 
Scissors to trim the wick once the candle has cured
 
(Optional) Newspaper, Parchment Paper, Wax Paper, or Paper Towels

 
We did not provide colorant, as the colorant we use is liquid and would be difficult to ship. You can decorate your candles with a touch of glitter or mica once they have cured though! Alternatively, the tops of the dried candles can be decorated with herbs or flowers for a springtime look! 
 
Avoid coloring your candles with food coloring as most food colorants do not blend with candle wax as they contain water. Water entering your wax will make your wax seize and become unusable. 
 
The fragrances included in these kits are eco friendly fragrances from candlescience.com and the wicks are cotton and paper core wicks and do not contain zinc. Please reach out to see if other fragrances from www.candlescience.com are available! 
 
Tips: The candy thermometer can also be used to stir your candle wax!
