Hades - The Greek Deity of the Underworld
A masculine, earthy fragrance of fresh-dug grave dirt with notes of berry, pomegranate, leather, and spice. This scent evokes midnight graveyards, ruinous temples, or long treks through damp marshes and forests, and is perfect for setting the mood for a tabletop session or spooky night in.
Hades is the Greek God of the Underworld, who ruled over Tartarus and the realm of the dead. Where most gods were revered and worshiped, he was feared. Many Greeks chose not to refer to him at all, so as not to draw attention to themselves before it was their time to enter the underworld. However, he was a firm but fair ruler, and he was also the god of wealth and plenty, representing the abundance of riches beneath the earth's surface—both in its fertile soil and deep mines. This connection to the riches of the earth made his marriage to Persephone, the goddess of spring, a particularly fruitful partnership.

The wicks will be trimmed down to 1/4" to be ready to light right out of the box. Burn instructions will also be included.
Each Status Jar holds 17.5 ounces by weight of wax. Each Jar has an estimated burn time of 120-130 hours using a CD24 Cotton and Paper wick, but may burn differently in higher altitudes or if a fan is running while the candle is burning. We suggest burning these candles in a room with good air flow, but away from the direct air current of a fan.
Note: Please always exercise caution when burning candles. Never leave a flame unattended, especially when you own animals. Please do not let your feathered or furred friends near a candle when it is burning. They could get burnt, or dump the melted wax by toppling the container the candle is burning in. I usually burn these in a room away from the birds just to exercise caution so I know my pets cannot do this.

Glass Vessels filled with 100% soy wax, and fragrance oils that are free of harmful ingredients. They are phthalate free, free from carcinogens, reproductive toxins, and other potentially hazardous chemicals often found in fragrance. We do not use UV blockers, vybar, or any other stabilizers in our candles. That means that over time the colors of these candles may change. They are bare bones, rustic, and hand made in small batches.
