This gorgeous stained glass piece measures at 12x24" and weighs almost eight pounds. It has a supportive zinc came border and a sturdy metal chain for hanging. The solder used is 60/40 solder.
 
This stained glass art has 132 cut pieces of varying glass. Some are iridescent, some textured, and some are solid throughout like the black pieces. The Tiffany stained glass method was used, which means each piece was wrapped in copper foil tape and then soldered together on both sides. This piece has also been washed and waxed to help seal and protect it.
 
Handwashing is recommended after handling as lead/tin solder was used. Keep out of reach of children and animals to prevent accidental ingestion as lead can be dangerous if consumed.
