Entering the Phoenix Cavern, you're greeted by the sight of a curious flock of birds. Glowing in vibrant oranges, yellows, and burgundy, and crackling with hints of magic flame. Piles of old ash lay scattered with swathes of worn leather and discarded feathers that humans often harvest for their life saving properties. It's apparent that the creatures are well cared for, with an abundance of food, water, and enrichment sprawled throughout their nesting areas.
 
Phoenixes are attributed to rebirth after death. Countless lore describes how their feathers and other body parts can be used to bring a person back from the brink of death. These feathers are also portrayed in popular video games as a medicinal item. The birth of the phoenix lore can be traced back to Greek and Egyptian mythologies, but they have since permeated the myths of other cultures.
 
They are commonly associated with the sun due to their portrayal of orange, gold, and reddish colorations. Phoenixes are said to die in a show of flame and combustion and a new phoenix is reborn from their ashes. Other lore suggested that the birds die and decompose before being born again.
 
This candle is scented with a rejuvenating and invigorating blend of orange, spice, and smoke to represent the life cycle of a phoenix. Juicy, sweet orange blends with spicy hot pepper, ginger, and smooth leather and smoke. Hints of amber mingle together with subtle undertones of guava, coconut, musk, and moss.

The Monster Menagerie Collection features candles made using 100% soy wax, cotton, and paper core wicks, and eco-friendly, carcinogen free fragrances. They are poured in reusable metal tins and are chock full of biodegradable and eco-friendly holo and glitter. Each candle in the collection is based off of different mythical creatures or supernatural beings.
 
The wicks will be trimmed down to 1/4" to be ready to light right out of the box. Burn instructions will also be included.
