The Explorer Collection features four candles made using 100% soy wax, cotton and paper core wicks, and eco friendly, carcinogen free fragrances. They are poured in reusable metal tins and are chock full of pretty gemstones for you to keep once the candle has finished burning. Each candle will have one sizable signature stone that changes with every batch. They will have an identifying sticker to show what stone is inside when they arrive.
 
The Explorer Collections were created during a period of quarentine when Covid-19 was new to the US. It was created to be like a mini expedition while most people were stuck at home. I also wanted it to be safe for birds, because we own birds and other animals. We also source our gems for these candles from a local rock shop and try to ensure that our raw materials come from US owned and operated locations.
 
1. Sandstrider 
Sandstrider is a combination of Egyptian amber, black amber and plum, mediterranean fig, tonka and oud, library, and red ginger saffron. It's a complex blend of sweet, smoky, and spicy fragrances with hints of wood and subtle undertones of caramel. It was crafted to be reminiscent of bazaars and open markets from distant lands. The small stones are tiger-eye, turquoise, and emerald and a fine dusting of king tut mica. Once the candle has burnt down you will have these stones and a surprise signature stone as a keepsake to add to your treasure troves.
 
2. Stargazer 
Stargazer is a pleasant mix of suede and smoke, sea mist, sea salt and orchid, and wassail. It evokes that feeling of standing on beach dunes or an open field on a starry night surrounded by your friends with a telescope, a bonfire in the distance, and a warm cup of wassail. There are subtle notes of leather and seaside florals combined with amber and touches of musk and berry, citrus, and spice accents to compliment this blend. Like Sandstrider, this candle has fragments of clear quartz, yellow topaz, and amethyst, as well as a surprise signature stone and a dusting of gold mica as well.

3. Springseeker
Springseeker is a lovely combination of nag champa, patchouli, sweetgrass & violet, calla lily, magnolia & peony, cherry blossom, english garden, sea salt & orchid, cotton & iris, and hibiscus palm. The fragrance is like stumbling upon a secret tropical garden temple in the middle of the wilds. The addition of patchouli and nag champa mellow the floral tones and give notes of interest to follow as the candle burns without being too overwhelming. This candle is decorated with Peridot, moss agate, yellow topaz, rose quartz, blue topaz, and emerald. It also has a secret signature stone and a dusting of enchanted forest mica and sparkle snowflake mica.
 
4. Swashbuckler
Come sail the high seas in search of bounties and loot with our Swashbuckler candle! Everyone who has smelled it picks up on different things from whiskey, leather and smoke, and ocean sea breeze. Smelling it takes you on an adventure on the high seas and rightfully so! The dark brown color is meant to resemble ship planking. It's dusted in goldfinger mica and chock full of emerald, turquoise, yellow topaz, moss agate, blue topaz, tigers eye, and a hidden signature stone. The fragrance is a mix of Caribbean teakwood, amber & driftwood, fireside, whiskey, sea mist, red ginger saffron, library, suede & smoke, and vertiver.
 
The wicks will be trimmed down to 1/4" to be ready to light right out of the box. Burn instructions will also be included.
